The 2009 Komen North Texas Race for the Cure® - June 6, 2009.
Who We Are
Pioneer Breast Health and Community Outreach is a multi-faceted program
focused on increasing knowledge and changing attitudes about breast health
and early detection within Denton County. With support from Susan
G. Komen for the Cure® North Texas Affiliate, breast health
educators will provide culturally relevant on-site breast health education,
connect medically underserved, uninsured, or underinsured women to low
cost and/or free mobile mammography, and facilitate community events that
raise awareness about breast health.
What We Do

Increase breast health awareness through community outreach and events, |

Partner with Community Health Resources to provide early detection & screening, |

Provide access to mammography and diagnostic services to the uninsured and underinsured, |

Provide Social Support through our Survivor Network, and much more. |
