Our Mission

Pioneer Breast Health and Community Outreach is a multi-faceted program focused on increasing knowledge and changing attitudes about breast health and early detection within Denton County.

With support from Susan G. Komen for the Cure® North Texas Affiliate, breast health educators will provide culturally relevant on-site breast health education, connect medically underserved, uninsured, or underinsured women to low cost and/or free mobile mammography, and facilitate community events that raise awareness about breast health.
